Without Punishment
My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline and do not resent his rebuke, 12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in. – Proverbs 3:11-12 (NIV).
God doesn’t punish Believers any more. He may correct them, but He does not punish them. Why? Because He put the full wrath and punishment of our sins on His Son Jesus when Jesus died on the cross. Jesus took our punishment in full for every sin we will ever commit. Now we will never suffer God’s wrath or punishment again. Isn’t that wonderful?
