Rescued From The Pit
Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back. – Isaiah 38:17 (KJV).
Jesus suffered at our expense. He took our sins on His back. He took our sins–all of them–before we were ever born. Our sins were forgiven 2000 years ago at the Cross. In exchange, we receive His peace, His shalom, meaning nothing missing, nothing broken. He died to rescue us from our pit of corruption, so that we might have life and life more abundantly (John 10:10).

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour? Do you believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sin? That He was raised from the dead? Then just pray aloud, “Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour.” If you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth, you are Born-again. Let us know if you prayed this prayer.
