He Is Our Light
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. – John 8:12 (KJV).
When Christ says that He is the light of the world, He is not saying that He came into this world to shine a light on all the bad things you have done, to ferret those hidden sins in your life.
The truth is that Jesus came to bring us mercy (not giving us the bad things we deserve) and grace (not withholding the good things we don’t deserve). He brought us an alternative to having to continually pay for our sins through the blood of goats and calves.
Jesus became the One, the Only Sacrifice that could forgive our sins–past, present and future. Once and for all. He became our light at the end of the dark tunnel of this world.

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour? Do you believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sin? That He was raised from the dead? Then just pray aloud, “Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour.” If you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth, you are Born-again. Let us know if you prayed this prayer.
