Who Do You Boast In?

That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. – I Corinthians 1:31 (KJV).

If we are to boast in anything or anyone, it is to be our Lord.  Who has forgiven your sins?  Who died for you?  Who has healed your diseases?  Who has crowned you with tender mercies and grace?

Has Mohammad?  Has Allah?  Has President Bush?

No, none of these have died for you, in your place.  None of these took the full wrath of God’s wrath and punishment in their own bodies for your sins.  None of them have taken stripes for your healing.  None of them have left you their peace, which is above any other.

No, if you are going to boast, boast about what Jesus has done for you.

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour?  Do you believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sin?  That He was raised from the dead?  Then just pray aloud, “Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins.  Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour.”  If you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth, you are Born-again.  Let us know if you prayed this prayer.
