Submit To The Process

Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding? – Isaiah 29:16

God is the Potter, and we are the clay.  Picture this for a moment.  We are on the Potter’s wheel.  God is molding us and shaping us into what He wants us to be.  However, many times as we are being shaped and molded, we don’t submit to the process.  We encounter difficulties in our lives, not brought by God, but used by Him to mold us and shape us.  Instead trusting that the Potter is in control, we panic.  We fight against the process and make the whole process take a whole lot longer.

If we would just submit to the process, if we would believe that God is in control, and stay in peace, the process would be a whole lot smoother and a whole lot more educational and rewarding.
