The Road To Peace
Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. – Luke 1:78 -79.
God is not condemning you once you have accepted Christ. Once you have accepted Christ, God will never judge or punish you again. Since Jesus already took your sins-past, present and future-at the cross and took God’s wrath and punishment for those sins, to judge and punish you again, would be double jeopardy.
Instead God shows us His mercy.
What is mercy? It is not giving us the bad things that we deserve.
Now He wants a relationship with us. A real Father/child relationship where He can love on you, where He can show you His mercy and grace, and lead you on the road to peace.
The word peace here is the Greek transliterated word eirene. It means security, safety, prosperity, felicity, (because peace and harmony make and keep things safe and prosperous).
We can live in a perpetual state of peace when we keep our eyes on God and not ourselves.

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour? Do you believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sin? That He was raised from the dead? Then just pray aloud, “Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour.” If you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth, you are Born-again. Let us know if you prayed this prayer.
