Our Wonderful Future

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. – Proverbs 4:18

If you look throughout church history, you will find that the sticking point that divided the Catholics and Protestants was Galatians 2:16, which states “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”

The Protestants believed that we are saved by believing in Jesus alone, which is what this Scripture says, and the Catholics believed that we are saved by Jesus but must do works.

However, we are justified by believing on Jesus Christ alone.  We are just because of His perfect sacrifice at the Cross, and because we are just, we have a wonderful future, planned for us from the beginning of the world by God.

If we submit to God’s process, we will live the reality, which is far greater than we can ever imagine,  of that future out.

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour?  Do you believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sin?  That He was raised from the dead?  Then just pray aloud, “Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins.  Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour.”  If you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth, you are Born-again.  Let us know if you prayed this prayer.
