Turned For Good

Turned For Good

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. – Romans 8:28

I love this Scripture.  It means that everything in my life is going to turn around for the good because God is orchestrating the events of my life to turn what the devil meant for my detriment into something good and wonderful, beyond my wildest dreams or expectations.

However for years, I was condemned by the second part of the verse, where it says “to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”  I know I am called according to His purpose, I thought.  After all, Jeremiah 29:11 (For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.) says so, but did I love God enough?

This is not a qualifier as we all think.  We are not disqualified if we don’t love God enough or if we aren’t sure we called.  No, these are a description of the people to God will work everything out for.

In fact, after God turns your situation around, you will love Him more and you feel a sense of purpose.

We are all called according to His purpose as Believers.  We all love the Lord when we know He saved us, so He will work everything out for our good.  Claim that promise for your life today!

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour?  Do you believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sin?  That He was raised from the dead?  Then just pray aloud, “Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins.  Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour.”  If you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth, you are Born-again.  Let us know if you prayed this prayer.
