Come To The End Of Us
My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God. – Psalm 84:2
The Hebrew transliterated word for fainteth here is kalah, which means to accomplish, cease, consume, determine, end, fail, finish, be complete, be accomplished, be ended, be at an end, be finished, be spent.
In essence, it means to come to the end of our efforts.
The Hebrew transliterated word for crieth out is ranan. This means to overcome, to cry aloud.
When we have come to the end of ourselves, our efforts, we cry out to the Lord for help. We look to Him for help. We come to Him as a last ditch effort when we should have come to Him first.
Instead of wasting your time and efforts, know that God is everything you need. If you need something, go to God first because your efforts, even your job, your friends, your family, your business, will always fail you. God never will.

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour? Do you believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sin? That He was raised from the dead? Then just pray aloud, “Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour.” If you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth, you are Born-again. Let us know if you prayed this prayer.
