Your Purpose Is Calling

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! – Romans 10:15

Many of us are used to hearing sermons about hellfire and brimstone, about sin and the temptations of life.  However, this Scripture says beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace.

Peace here is the Greek transliterated eirene.  If you read my blog a few days ago, which means  security, safety, prosperity, felicity, (because peace and harmony make and keep things safe and prosperous).

There is not enough being taught about staying in peace.  It is vitally important not only to getting the blessings of God to flow more in our lives, but it is the wavelength on which the Holy Spirit speaks to us.

You don’t always have to hear God on something.  You can determine His Will for you by the absence or present of peace.  If you have peace, do it.  If you don’t, forget it.

Paul charges us in Colossians 3:15 to “…let the peace of God rule in your hearts…”

Preachers who teach peace and good tidings of good things are encouraging and building up the body of Christ, who have seen their share of valleys of suffering and trouble.  They are offering them the hope and peace of God in the middle of the trials and tribulations.

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour?  Do you believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sin?  That He was raised from the dead?  Then just pray aloud, “Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins.  Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour.”  If you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth, you are Born-again.  Let us know if you prayed this prayer.
