Break The Trap
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. – Galatians 5:1
I have been upset about someone has been treating me for years. I have forgiven her many times…and we have gotten into many arguments about it.
However she still doesn’t see how her actions affect the people around her, not just me. She sees people judging her, condemning her, when the people just don’t want to be controlled any longer.
If I am not careful, I will fall into the same trap of control.
The problem is that at the root of control is fear. Usually the fear of losing someone or something.
The more we hold onto something, though, the more that person or thing resents it.
If we hold on too tight our friends and family members, we can not only crush someone’s spirit but break our relationship with them as well.
Every person is a human being. Each should be treated with respect and honor. Every one should be able to fulfill the plan God has for their lives without being under the thumb of another.

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour? Do you believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sin? That He was raised from the dead? Then just pray aloud, “Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour.” If you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth, you are Born-again. Let us know if you prayed this prayer.
