We Cannot Be Cursed
But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: – Deuteronomy 28:15
According to this Scripture, if we disobey, we will be cursed. That was true for the people of the Old Testament and even people who lived before Jesus died, but that is not true for us, as Believers today.
Jesus fulfilled all the requirements of the law for us. He obeyed the law for us before He knew that we couldn’t. There is no way that we could obey ever ordinance and law of God because the law was not given to be obeyed but to show for our need for a Saviour.
Jesus died on the cross for us. He took the curse for us. Therefore through Christ, we are not cursed but blessed based on what Jesus did for us and not our performance or works.
God does not based our blessings on us but on Jesus and His finished work. Everything God gives us is based on Jesus’ sacrifice and not us once we are in Christ.

Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour? Do you believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sin? That He was raised from the dead? Then just pray aloud, “Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour.” If you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth, you are Born-again. Let us know if you prayed this prayer.
