Give It To God

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. – 1 Peter 5:7

I had a letter that I needed to come from a friend in South Carolina that had something important in it.  A letter that had been lost before this.  I went to the mail every day…and alas!  It wasn’t there!  I needed that letter to come.

After being upset about it not arriving, I finally gave the problem to God and rested what He promised in His Word.

Within twenty-four hours, I had the letter.

I know that the letter probably would have taken the same amount of time, but I wouldn’t have made myself sick, worrying about it.

I am learning to turn my cares over to Him, but like most people, I need to practice casting them from the beginning.

Let’s make that one of our priorities this year because when we do, we will be healthier in our minds and bodies.
