Back To The Cross

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. – – Romans 8:6

What are you focusing on? What are you putting your trust in?

The word carnally here is referring to our flesh. It is referring to our natural man, our own strength, our own efforts. When we do things in our own strength, things don’t work out as they should.

Instead when we focus on God and do things in His strength, we will tap into the life and peace that He has given us as free gifts.

Focus on the things of God and what Jesus did for you at the Cross. Make sure everything in your life reminds you and brings you back to the Cross. That isthe beginning and the end of our salvation and needs to be our focus during the road in between.
