Christ Is The End
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. – Romans 10:4
Do you believe in Christ? Have you accepted Christ? Then this Scripture says that Christ is the end of the law for righteousness.
What does that mean Christ is the end of the law for righteousness?
It means that Christ fulfilled the conditions of the law for us. He took our bondage to the law.
Instead He gave us His righteousness, so that we could be in right standing with God apart from the law, apart from our performance.
Now we are righteous based on the shed blood of Jesus. Yes, everything always comes back to that.
If a Gospel you hear preached does not come back to Jesus and His finished work on the Cross, then you are not hearing the Gospel of the Bible. The Gospel of the Bible always points back to Jesus at the Cross.
In other words, we are in right standing with God not based on our works but based on Jesus’ blood.
