Receive First

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: – Genesis 12:2.

God blessed Abraham to be a blessing.  Contrary to popular Christian belief, we must first receive from God before we can give to others.  Receive first, then give.
