But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: –  I Corinthians1:30

Jesus is our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption.  We cannot earn these things.  We cannot be good enough to merit them.  Jesus is those things for us.  All we have to do is focus on Him and Him alone to receive them.
