Turn Your Attention

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. – I John 5:18

As people born of God, we do not purposely sin.  Instead of focusing on sinning or not sinning, we should focus our attention on Jesus.  When we do, we become more like Jesus and less like us.  Our minds go in the direction in which we focus.  If we focus on sin, we will sin more.  If we focus on Jesus, we will become like Him.
