All Is Well
Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well: – 2 Kings 4:26
This woman had a dead child and yet she told Elisha’s servant that “It is well.” Was she lying? Or was she resting in her promise from God that she would have a son?
I believe she had enough faith to know that if God promised something, He would do what is necessary to keep His promise.
When our promises from God seem contrary, do we say “It is well,” believing God will turn it around? Or do we complain and get upset?
Let us choose to believe that what God promised He will do, even if He has to raise the things in our lives from the dead.
