Nothing Into Something

If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. – Galatians 6:3

When we think we are something, there is only one person we deceive and that’s ourselves.  We are something in Christ but not because of our works.  They don’t impress God.  It is Jesus’ blood on the cross that makes us something.  It took nothing people like us and made us something.  It took worthless people and set them up at the King’s table.  How marvelous is that?
