Through The Promise

For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith – Romans 4:13

We are not heirs of the world because we have earned it.  Not because we worked for it.

We are heirs of the world, through the promise of Abraham, because we are the righteousness of God in Christ.

What makes us righteous in Christ?  Jesus’ shed blood on the Cross.

It is only when we focus on being the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus that we begin to change to reflect the image of our Lord.
