Making Room

And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land. – Genesis 26:22

The Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land. This is God’s promise to us. However most of us are not tapping into it.

Why? Because we don’t read the first part of the Scripture. It says they strove not.

Too many times we are not relying on God to make room for us, to bring us the opportunities, the positions, the spouse, we are strive to do it ourselves.

As long as we are doing it ourselves, God will take His hands off our lives.

Instead we need to give everything in our lives and rest on His promises instead of striving.
