Children Of The Light

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. – John 8:12

Once we have accepted Christ, we no longer walk in the darkness.  Not even if we sin.  We are people of the light who mess up.  We are not sinners again.  We are separate from our sin.

People who are in the darkness may occasionally do something right but that does not make them righteous and in right standing with God.

Only accepting Christ makes us righteous (II Corinthians 5:21).  Nothing more.  Nothing less.
