Marvel At The Baby

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. – Matthew 2:10

When the shepherds, the wise men, saw the star in the sky, they rejoiced.

I find that we don’t rejoice any more at the wonder of what happened.

We don’t marvel at why our God, righteous and just, would allow Himself to come to us in the form of a baby born in a manger.  We don’t imagine the scene and know that He did this for us.

He came for us.  To save us.  And yet we forget the wonder of it all.
