A Lot To Be Thankful For

And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. – Isaiah 35:10

We are the ransomed of the Lord.  When Jesus died, He paid our ransom.  Therefore we shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.  This comes from focusing on what Jesus did for us, how He paid our punishment, our judgment, so we could go free, so we could be in right standing with God.  Isn’t that a lot to be thankful for?
