Jesus Gave You Himself

But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid. – John 6:20

The disciples, just like us, had Jesus in the midst of them and yet they were afraid.  However, because Jesus is in the midst of us, we have nothing to fear.
Remember at the cross, Jesus gave us all His good in exchange for all His bad.
This year don’t base your requests from God on you and your efforts.  Base them on Jesus and His efforts.  When you do this, you are tapping into all that Jesus died to give you–Himself.
