Your Purpose Is Calling

Have You Fallen From Grace?

Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.  – Galatians 5:4

We think of falling from grace as sinning, but according to this Scripture, falling from grace refers to going back to trying to earn our salvation, our blessings through the law.

The purpose of the law (the Ten Commandments and all the ordinances of the Bible), according to Galatians 3:24-25, was to show us our need for salvation, our need for Christ and His Sacrifice.

We cannot keep the law perfectly because we are human beings.  Only One could.  Jesus Christ.

As long as we are basing our salvation and blessings on us, we will never live the life God intended us to live (John 10:10).  Instead we have to base everything on Jesus and His shed blood.
