God Is Faithful

If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. – 2 Timothy 2::13

When we are faithless, God is still faithful.  He cannot deny Himself, His nature.  The Israelites disobeyed God.  They murmured.  They complained.  Yet the next day, the manna still fell from Heaven (Numbers 11).  God still remained faithful even when they weren’t.

Today God is still faithful to His covenant with us through Jesus, even we are not, because our covenant with God is not based on us and our performance.  It is based on Jesus and His performance, which is always perfect.
