Do You Depend On Daddy?
So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. – Acts 2:46-47
We need to be like the early disciples and eat with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God.
They didn’t try to earn their blessings (which are free gifts from God) through obedience, which is actually a byproduct of knowing God loves you. They didn’t try to help God out. They depended on God and God alone for all their needs to be met.
If they needed a job, an increase in business, food, money, they depended on Daddy God to provide it.
We need to be more like that, knowing that Daddy God is willing, able and ready to meet all our needs, if we will trust Him to do so.
