Do You Have The Promise?

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. – Hebrews 11:13

The people chronicled in the hall of faith in Hebrews 11 didn’t receive the promise on Earth.  Why?  Because Jesus had yet to die.

We, however, have the promise.  We have obtained it and not only that we have been given all that we need to reign in this life through the shed blood of Jesus.

This is truly why we have a better covenant with better promises.
