Are You Afraid Of The Judgement?

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10).

This is not referring to us as Believers because our salvation, our justification, is based on Jesus and not on ourselves.  This is referring to those who have not accepted Christ.  God has never looked at the person who sinned when the sacrifice for sin had been made, even in the Old Testament.  Instead He looked to the sacrifice.  We, as Believers, have the most perfect sacrifice: Jesus Christ.  For us, the judgment seat of Christ is the mercy seat, dispensing rewards and not punishments.
