Are You A Fool?

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. – Psalm 14:1


 

I met a man the other day who prides himself on being Mensa smart.  However, he wanted me to concede that there is no God…and that the virgin birth was illogical and couldn’t be true.

He called it arrogance for people to tell him that there is only one way to Heaven, that there was a Heaven at all.  If there was a Heaven and he did good works, he should get it, right?

However I think it is arrogant to think that we could ever be good enough to reach God’s standards, that we don’t have a need for a Saviour…and this Scripture agrees with me.

A fool says, “There is no God.”

Don’t be a fool.  Study the Word, and ask God to show you the Truth.  And He will.
