Are You Holy?

“For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness” (1 Thessalonians 4:7).

 

This is so true!  But I submit to you that we are already holy because of Jesus’ death on the Cross.  I John 4:17 says that we are as Christ is in this world.  Is Christ holy?  Yes.  Then so are we.

How can that be?  Because Jesus died in our place as us and for us.  And once we have accepted Christ, we are in Christ.

Christ lives through us.  We are only a vessel.  He does the actual living.

We focus too much on what we do and not enough on Whose we are.

Focus on Jesus, and you will see your life change for the good.  It has no choice but to.
