Are You Cleansed?

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin” (1 John 1:7).

The word cleanseth here is the Greek word katharizo. It is in the present, active tense, which means that the blood of Jesus is still presently cleansing us. It is continually cleansing us of our sins. Imagine that. The blood of Jesus is continually cleansing us of our sins. Not just from past sins but from all our sins.
