Hopeful or Hopeless?
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. – 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 (KJV)
We are not without hope. Why? Because Jesus died and rose again. He paid the price for our sins. He took our punishment. There is no longer anything to be afraid of. We are the hopeful. And in the end, no matter what happens, we have a home in Heaven if we have accepted Christ.
“in the end, no matter what happens, we have a home in Heaven if we have accepted Christ.” So true AnnaGail! I pray that the church will truly grasp this message in practice as well as in theory~
