Are You Glossing The Truth?

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. – John 3:16

Too many times, we read the Easter story and gloss over it until next year, but the story of what Jesus did for us needs to be our lifestyle, our daily reminder, of what our God did for us.

We like to seperate God from Jesus. We like to say that Jesus died for us. But God came down to Earth. God Himself made Himself a baby. God Himself lived among us. God Himself lived the human life. And God Himself died on the Cross for our sins.

Think about that. God Himself died for us. God Himself rose again. God Himself was on that Cross. His blood reconciled us to Himself, tearing down the barrier between us and Him.
