Circumstances Or God?
And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform – Romans 4:19–21
Abraham didn’t look at the natural circumstances. He didn’t look at his frail body. He didn’t look at how old his wife was. He had his promise from God, and he was strengthened in faith. How? By giving glory to God. By giving glory to God is how Abraham went from “Oh my circumstances look awful” to “God, I know You are going to give me what You promised.” When we take our eyes off our circumstances and put it on our God, our miracles will break forth.

Amen! We need to keep in mind that His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. His ways are higher, bigger and better than ours and He has the full picture while we only have our own limited vantage point.
