Where Do You Live?

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.” – John 15:9

According to this Scripture, we are to abide in God’s love for us. Abide means to live, to dwell, to take up residence, in His love. When we take up residence, what do we do? We stake our claim on it. We move all our stuff in. We hang pictures. We surround ourselves with our residence. We have to do the same with God’s love. We have to stake our claim, give God our stuff, nail our memories to the Cross and surround ourselves with the love of Christ. We have to change our address from doubt and fear to God’s love.
