For Our Sake Or His?

He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. – Psalm 23:3

The Lord leads us into the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Why is it for His name’s sake. When we were under the old covenant, the covenant of do this, do that, don’t do this, we were separated from God by our sins.

When Jesus died for our sins, when He took God’s full wrath and punishment for our sins, everything that prevent us from being in God’s presence ripped with that veil.

How can that be if we still sin? Because we are not righteous through our works but through what Jesus did on the Cross. The blood of Jesus makes us righteous. God leads us into righteousness so He can love us and treat us like His beloved children.

definitely compelling and informative! Within modern universe that’s very
difficult to do. I am grateful, Orlando
