Are You Loving?

“If anyone has this world’s goods (resources for sustaining life) and sees his brother and fellow believer in need, yet closes his heart of compassion against him, how can the love of God live and remain in him? Let us not love [merely] in theory or in speech but in deed and in truth.” – 1 John 3:17–18, AMP.

God is love. It is not our love that we need to show to others because human love, at its best, is flawed.

We need to show people the love of God working through us.

We do that by receiving God’s love. We serve others, show them God’s love, by first receiving His love.

When we overflow with His love, it will spill out onto others.
