Who Are You Convincing?
For she said, "If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well." – Mark 5:28
When you confess the Word, are you confessing it to convince you? Or to convince God?
God is not sitting up in Heaven, wondering, "Am I going to heal her?" or "Am I going to prosper him?"
No, God’s promises are already ours. Jesus already died and resurrected in order for peace to come to every area of our lives. There is no question whether God wants to heal us or prosper us. It is already a done deal.
When we confess the Word, it isn’t to get the promises to manifest in our lives. We confess the Word to convince ourselves that the Word is true.
If we meditate the Word, mutter it to ourselves, it will cause us to effortlessly believe the Word. Faith comes by hearing ourselves speak the Word.
