Are You Fighting?

"…‘God has broken through my enemies by my hand like a breakthrough of water.’ " (1 Chronicles 14:11, NKJV)

Most of us think at we must fight our enemies on our own, but this is not the case.

Moses relied on God to part the Red Sea when Pharoah’s army went after the fleeing Israelites (Exodus 15:4).

Esther relied on God to take care of Haman, the man who plotted against her people (Esther 1-7).

Elijah relied on God to take care of the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18:17-46).

The Bible tells us the battle is not ours but God’s (

2 Chronicles 20:15).

We need to stop fighting the enemies in our lives and let God handle it because

2 Chronicles 20:17 (NIV) tells us "You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you."

God will give us the victory if we rely on Him to fight our enemies instead of doing it ourselves. 🙂
