Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, – Philippians 3:13
Most of the time we are concerned with what affects us right now.
We are concerned with our present challenges–with the rebellious kid, the health issues, the crackling marriage.
But as long as we dwell on what is presently happening in our lives, even after doing all we can do and handing it over to God, we will become depressed. Life will become mundane.
If, though, we focus on the plan God has for our lives, we know that He is going to work everything out for our good.
Dead, broke and sick people are no use to further God’s Kingdom.
God needs live, healthy and abundant people. That’s His will for you (John 10:10, 3 John 2). 🙂
