Are You Afraid?

Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again." (Exodus 14:13)

The last couple of days have been challenging not only in my health but also with the sheer amount of work that needed to be done.

I had an incident where I had blind spots in one eye. I had opportunity to fear, and unfortunately, I took it.

Then when I felt better, one of my co-workers says, "That sounds serious," causing me to fear again.

Only God tells me not to fear. He tells me that He bore my sicknesses at the Cross. I will check in with a doctor, but I am also placing my trust where it belongs–in God’s capable hands.

All of us have opportunity to fear, but let’s make sure that we take fear out with the Word of God.
