Do You Trust?

Cause me to hear Your loving-kindness in the morning, for on You do I lean and in You do I trust. Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for I lift up my inner self to You. Psalm 143: 8

Trust in the Lord. Trust in the Lord alone.

Everyone else in life will disappoint you. People who you thought you could trust will cause you pain because we are only human beings.

Most of us don’t receive God’s love enough to learn to trust Him. We still see Him as a God who is ready to punish us at every turn. Jesus took the punishment for all our sins. The payment has been made once and for all.

Therefore we can come to God day or night with anything, and He is always willing to help us in our time of despair, need or struggle.

It is when we keep coming to God with our issues that we develop a relationship with Him. And when we get to know Him better, we can trust Him. 🙂
