Distracted?
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 3:14
Some times in life we will get what seems to be an answer to prayer. In reality, though, it is not a good thing. If it is not a good thing, it is not a God thing.
These things, these situations, are send into our lives for one reason and one reason only: to distract us.
From what? From God’s purpose for our lives, from using our gifts and talents to better the world, from being all God created us to be.
We have to see them for what they are, and choose to entertain them or move on with what God called us to do. The choice is ours.
If we choose the distractions, we risk delaying our purpose in life.
